Legal One has and continues to act for Lenders and Borrowers in a plethora of transactions, ranging from personal unsecured loans, to registered first ranking mortgages.

We assist private Lenders by drafting Loan documentation and security documents such as mortgages and caveats.

We also act for guarantors in respect to reviewing and advising on guarantees. We give advice for mortgages and guarantees, and act for Lenders in private lending spaces.

Legal One has acted for prospective and existing Franchisees on the acquisition and transfer of large and medium Franchises, from negotiating Franchising Agreements, acting on Leasing and Licensing, and assisting our clients in navigating and satisfying Franchisor requirements.

At Legal One, we have represented and acted on a number of transactions within the Pharmaceutical Services industry, including but not limited to sale and purchases of pharmacies, negotiating Pharmacy franchises, negotiating Leases, and assisting clients in satisfying pre-conditions of obtaining necessary approvals. We understand the process for the sale and purchase of Pharmaceutical businesse and can assist with all facets of the transactions.

At Legal One, we act for builders and developers of all scales. We carry out Contract reviews of and provide advice on, the Master Builders Association Home Building Contracts, and Australian Standards Design and Construct and Construct Only Contracts, tripartite deeds, subcontractor agreements, and assist clients with resolving disputes that may be encountered during the course of a construction project.

We represent clients in NCAT and in the Supreme Court, in defects claims. We pride ourselves on our track record in settling claims, which is a far more satisfactory result for parties to litigation. Having said that, we run matters to final hearing when needed, and have built relationships with building experts, engineers and hydraulics experts, who are available to give expert opinions in court proceedings.

At Legal One, a cornerstone has been property development and acting for Developers in all shapes and forms. This includes negotiating building contracts, reviewing land contracts, assisting the developer in the process of acquiring the land from pre-exchange of Contracts through to Settlement, negotiating authority to lodge Development Applications, negotiating easements, assisting with the lodgement of Easements, Restrictions on the Use of Land and Positive Covenant to be recorded on title, acting on the sales of all lots in a plan, and completion of the project.

We are well versed in obstacles that developers can face, and can negotiate access rights to neighbouring properties.

Legal One acts for a number of clients within the food services industry. We work with and understand the needs of cafe and restaurants owners, in securing their locations by negotiating leases and commercial purchases, sale and purchase of business and all associated transactions. Our clients range form franchisee operators, small cafes, large restaurants and functions centres. We act for licenced premises operators and can navigate these types of applications and required for liquor licences.
